LEANTRAX
Lean IoT Manufacturing Tracking Pilot
The project objective is to demonstrate how an IIoT innovative solution, fast to deploy, can fully digitalize human based material flow movement within a factory and improve operational performances. The context is a high-volume manufacturing and assembly environment in a major VALEO manufacturing facility. LEANTRAX project will leverage Editag patented IIoT sensors (mOOntag’s) deployed on the field with manufacturing advanced tracking features, among others real-time hyperlocalisation. Tangible project objectives are organisational, operational and technical: remove the need for paper/label printing on the project perimeter (going paperless and providing real-time information to field operators), suppress manual tracking of material flow related event thanks to 100% automated track & trace features based on hyperlocalisation. Overall, LEANTRAX will demonstrate how digitalisation under Industry 4.0 paradigm can boost performances of a lean based organisation.
