IIoT-ZD
A large-scale demonstration of IIoT-ZD, a solution to monitor in real time industrial concatenated processes to achieve a Zero Defects goal
In the Automotive industry, real-time monitoring of production processes is currently carried out by implementing complex customized projects, the reason being the large heterogeneity of machines and processes involved. Most solutions available today in the market are based on Software platforms, which rely on the data capture provided by third parties. Customized projects are required to accomplish this data capture, which result in high costs and long-time implementations. These are the main reasons for the very low market penetration of these solutions.
On top of this, there is not yet any system in the market providing real-time monitoring and analysis prediction of all concatenated processes of the supply chain, which includes the OEMs and their TIERs.
To overcome this situation, Sistemas OEE de Productividad Industrial (hereinafter SOEE) and Transchain (hereinafter TCHAIN) have developed a unique IIoT solution for the automotive industry (and others, in the future). This IIoT-ZD solution is a collaborative IIoT solution, not a complex project, which fully integrates software and hardware (IIoT data capture devices), allowing real-time monitoring and predicting anomalies of all concatenated manufacturing processes, located in multiple production plants of the whole supply chain.
