MYWAI™ 4 QUALITY MANAGEMENT
Artificial Intelligence in its most innovative form, Neural Networks, is gaining momentum in Industry. Anyhow relevant concerns still remain in place when it comes to apply Neural Networks directly at the heart of mission critical, highly secretive, industrial production processes, specially due to the black boxed nature of “Deep” (i.e. multi layered) Neural Networks.
The MYWAI 4 Quality Manager (MYWAI4QM™) project led by the Italian startup Knowhedge SRL aims to design and pilot edge computing IOT appliances delivering highly secured and trusted Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs) directly at the edge of industrial production belts and workplaces.
To achieve trust & security at the level needed in industrial production workflows, MYWAI4QM™ blends ASIC and FPGA based Neural Networks with access to new generation DLT (Distributed Ledger Technologies) topology specifically designed for encrypting and streaming data from IOT (i.e. IOTA) appliances, such sensors, cameras and vision systems, used for monitoring industrial settings.
The MYWAI4QM™ technology will be piloted by one of the world’s leading producers of ultrasound medical equipment, ESAOTE S.p.A., in its plant in Florence, Italy, where the most important component of its echography appliances, the ultrasound probe, is produced.
