Mont-Blanc Industries
“Mont-Blanc Industries” is a cluster located south of Geneva and historically very active in mechanical industry. Mont-Blanc Industries cluster is labelled by the French Government as “Pole de Compétitivité”, dedicated to high-precision machining (advanced manufacturing process and autonomous production cells), mechatronics ((B to B assemblies, B to C products and industrial robotics) and digital (big data, smart metrology). The cluster launched in 2002 the first industrial label to allow companies to reach excellence and growth based on innovation, internationalization, financing and anticipation of human skills with an improvement process (a 360° diagnosis renewed every 2 years).
The cluster counts more the 320 member companies (very large majority of SMEs) for an annual turnover of 5.5 billion euros and 27 000 employees. It has a permanent team of 5 employees located in Cluses and Annecy (Haute-Savoie, France). It also works in close relationship with public partners (universities, technical centers, etc.).
